About Kristel
Kristel Kovner Francesconi is a writer and editor currently residing in the Atwater Village neighborhood of Los Angeles. She received her BFA in Creative Writing with an emphasis in Film & Media Studies from Pepperdine University in Malibu.
First published in 2010, Kristel continues to take on writing and editing projects in the areas of film & tv, art & music, culture & travel, lifestyle & wellness and women’s issues.
As a screenwriter, she was honored with a Best Shorts Award in 2014 for the film Where We Start From and is currently shopping two original female-driven episodic pilots.
