Kristel Kovner Francesconi is a writer and actor from Los Angeles.
She received her BFA in Creative Writing and Film & Media Studies from Pepperdine University in Malibu and is a Best Shorts Award winner for writing and producing the short film Where We Start From.
Kristel’s screenwriting work has been officially selected in 5 International film festivals including the Berlin Independent Film Festival during Berlineale, International Festival of Cinematic Arts, California International Film Festival, LA Indie Film Festival and Tucson Film & Music Festival. Her editorial work has been published in LA Canvas Magazine and Mother Mag.
Her acting credits (as Kristel Kovner) include a Sundance select feature film & an LA Shorts International select short film, SXSW select music videos, network and streaming TV, as well as various national commercials and theater.
She currently resides in Los Feliz with her husband and two young children.
